I was reminiscing about good times. It gave me the urge to search the web for a video of one of my favorite covers. The video isn't the best, but it's the best audio I could find on youtube.

Juno

So, I've been obsessing about this movie since I saw it last week. I love it, and I want to go see it again in theatres. If you haven't seen it, you should. Not exactly a kid friendly flim, but definetly worth seeing. Its got a fantastic cast full of actors that I already liked from other films.

I think the primary reason I like it is because the main character, Juno, reminds me of me...well, at least it reminds me of the person I'd like to be (minus being pregnant). She's smart and sarcastice but still a generally "good" person. Anyway, I won't go in to an in depth analysis of her character, but she's very likeable. Go see it.

Just One More

So I've got just one more semester of law school left. It won't be any easier, but it feels good knowing there's an end. It's hard to explain how truly hellish law school is, and I won't bother to try now. Sorry to the few of you who read this for not posting anything for a while.

Right now I'm trying to process my New Year's Eve experience. My wife and I got together with some friends to play games. Alcohol was present, which I think is a wonderful thing. One of the attendees (not me) ended up very intoxicated. I found out later that the person probably should have gone to the hospital. I think his/her alcohol level was in the toxic range.

I'm not really sure how I feel about this. This person is a friend. The next day the friend made comments like, "I just couldn't stop drinking." This concerns me. I think alcohol is good, but drinking in excess is bad. I've got a lot of alcoholics in my family, so I'm sensitive when I hear people say they can't stop drinking.

I'd love to hear anyone's thoughts on what a Christians approach to drinking should be. Anyway, hope you all enjoyed the Feast of the Holy Prepuce.
